Buonanno Claims Huge Fold

Level 12 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Alessandro Pichierri raised to 2,500 in the hijack and was three-bet to 10,000 by Antonio Buonanno in the cutoff. It folded back to Pichierri, who flicked in a call.

Pichierri checked to Buonanno on the A25 flop. Buonanno continued for 7,000, which Pichierri raised to 20,000.

Buonanno then three-bet to 42,000, and Pichierri called. The A turn was checked by both players before the J turn completed the board.

Pichierri promptly shoved all in for 145,000, seeing Buonanno make the fold after about 20 seconds.

After the hand, Buonanno claimed to have folded ace-king, which was met with disbelief by the table.

Min-Raise Sends Bruneteaux Into Tank

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Benjamin Bruneteaux
Benjamin Bruneteaux

The action was caught on a completed board of 3J759. Benjamin Bruneteaux made a bet of 13,000 into the pot of 20,000 from the big blind, which Karapet Alexanjan raised to 26,000.

Bruneteaux spent about five minutes mulling it over before he flicked in a calling chip.

"Good call, I have nothing," Alexanjan stated as he turned over AQ. Bruneteaux showed KJ for top pair and chipped up to a six-figure stack.
