Laba Eventually Eliminated

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Vasyl Laba
Vasyl Laba

Vasyl Laba had put most of his chips in preflop, creating a pot of roughly 200,000 chips. Robert Vranic was his opponent, and he put Laba all-in for 10,000 after Laba had checked to him.

Laba spent all his time banks trying to make the pay jump before calling off the rest of his chips.

Vasyl Laba: 98 All in
Robert Vranic: 77

Laba had a straight draw against the set of Vranic, but it did not come in on the 4Q runout, seeing Vranic make a full house instead.

Laba finished in 96th place, bubbling the pay jump to €4,160.

Peluso Flushed Out

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Fabio Peluso
Fabio Peluso

Darius Neagoe had raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and was flat-called by Zoran Stojanovic in the small blind. Big blind Fabio Peluso then squeezed in his stack of 200,000, folding out Neagoe.

Stojanovic made a quick call, however, and the players were ordered to show down.

Fabio Peluso: KJ All in
Zoran Stojanovic: A10

The 672 flop diminished the outs of Peluso, and the Q turn was of no help to him either. The 5 river saw Stojanovic lock up the pot with a flush, eliminating Peluso from the Main Event.

Russo Binks Flush in Enormous Pot

Level 25 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Salvatore Russo raised to 40,000 from early position before Muhamet Perati three-bet to 140,000 in the small blind. Yossi Maymon cold-called in the big blind and Russo matched the raise as well, going to a flop of 1035.

It was checked to Russo, who bet 205,000. Perati then jammed all in for 905,000, and Maymon made a quick fold. Russo called with the covering stack, however, and the cards went face-up.

Muhamet Perati: A5 All in
Salvatore Russo: A8

Cheers erupted from the rail as the K hit the turn, making Russo his flush and securing him the pot. The J river brought him a useless bonus heart as Perati awaited his payout.

Russo was shipped the pot and ended up with a stack of nearly 150 big blinds.
