Players gathered around Table 6 after Axel Bayout hit a royal flush with K♥Q♥ on a board of 9♣A♥J♥2♠10♥.
According to Bayout, he opened from the button and called after Kamel Atoui three-bet from the small blind. Atoui then fired three-barrels with Q♣8♣ for a rivered straight, and allowed Bayout to secure a massive double up.
Tristan Peyre opened to 60,000 from middle position. Alexandre Teulade in the cutoff three-bet to 160,000 and Peyre called.
Teulade continued for 145,000 on a flop of 3♠7♦9♥, but Peyre check-raised to 300,000. It took a few seconds for Teulade to call.
Peyre then asked for 225,000 on the 8♥ turn. Teulade quickly raised all-in for 615,000, putting Peyre in a tough spot. He went deep into the tank but folded.
At the feature table, Adria Diaz Dalmau raised from early position with K♠Q♠ and was called by Giovanni Riva in the cutoff with A♥10♥.
