Fellone Gets Near-Double Up
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Nicholas Fellone moved almost all in for 26,000 from early position and Qi Huang called. The rest of the table folded and the hand went to the flop.
"Chip and a chair," said Fellone, asking his opponent to check it down in case he lost. Surprisingly, Huang played along and both players checked all three streets on a board of J♦4♦9♣5♣3♦.
Huang had A♣8♣ for ace-high and Fellone had 7♣7♥ for a pair of sevens to win the pot, near-doubling his stack.
"See, I save you a chip," said Fellone as he scooped in the pot.
