Reid's Chip and Chair Dream Comes to an End
Level 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
As seen by famous PokerNews photographer Danny Maxwell, Terrance Reid was all in with ace-queen and ran into pocket queens on a queen-high board to lose nearly all of his stack. Reid was pretty much busted out by the TD until the dealer counted the chips to find out he had just one yellow 1,000 chip remaining.
"A chip and a chair", said Reid as he placed his chip, worth less than one-tenth of a big blind, in the middle on the next hand. The button isolated with a raise before Damien Palayer reraised to 72,000. The button folded leaving Palayer and Reid to flip their cards.
Terrance Reid: Q♠3♦
Damien Palayer: J♠J♥
The board ran out J♣7♠4♣K♥5♥ and Palayer improved to a set of jacks to win the pot, sending Reid to the rail.
