Lauer Pays Off Wilson
Level 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
James Lauer opened to 17,000 in middle position and was called by John Wilson in the cutoff. Lauer led out for 35,000 on the 4♥3♥J♥ flop, with Wilson calling to see the J♦ turn.
Lauer checked and made the call after Wilson slid out of a bet of 50,000. Another check from Lauer followed the 8♣ river.
Wilson took some time before counting out a bet of 118,000. Lauer then took his time before putting in the call. Wilson tabled 4♠4♦ for a full house, taking down a sizeable pot as Lauer mucked.
