Beer on the Rise
Level 28
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
William Beer limped in middle position and called after Dan McGinnis raised to 250,000 in the cutoff.
Beer checked the 9♥Q♥5♣ flop, with McGinnis firing another 250,000. The call was made and the dealer revealed the 10♦ turn, where Beer check-called another bet of 650,000.
The 4♣ river saw both players check it down. Beer showed J♣9♠ for a pair of nines, good enough to take down the pot as McGinnis mucked.
