Cain Connects on the Turn

Level 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Emil Mardakha answered several limps around the table by moving all in for his last 12,500. Giuseppe Lomuscio and George Cain called, leaving Mardakha at risk.

Lomuscio fired a bet of 10,000 on the 9410 flop, with Cain raising all in. The call was made and the cards were turned up.

Emil Mardakha: 44 All in
Giuseppe Lomuscio: Q10 All in
George Cain: 75

Mardakha's set of fours was in front until the Q turn gave Cain a flush. The 7 river was a blank, leaving Cain ahead to eliminate both opponents.

Double Knockout for Gadelov

Arkado Gadelov
Arkado Gadelov

Chips were flying into the middle on table 22, where Dong Wei and David Chace found themselves all in and at risk against Arkado Gadelov.

David Chace: QQ All in
Dong Wei: AQ All in
Arkado Gadelov: AK

Chace's pocket queens were ahead until the K39 flop, where Gadelov made a pair of kings. The 9 turn and 7 river changed nothing, leaving Gadelov in front for the double elimination.

2025 PokerStars EPT Monte-Carlo Festival Starts April 30

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
EPT Monte Carlo
EPT Monte Carlo

One of the most eagerly anticipated stops on the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) is almost upon us: the EPT Monte-Carlo festival. Running from April 30 through May 10, the 2025 PokerStars EPT Monte-Carlo takes place, as always, at the luxurious Sporting Monte-Carlo. The stop marks the 20th year since PokerStars first took the EPT to the legendary Principality.

This year's EPT Monte-Carlo bursts into action with the inaugural €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event. The PokerStars Open are a set of six standalone stops plus two Open Main Events at EPT Barcelona and Monte-Carlo, each with a €1/£1 million guaranteed prize pool.

If the recent PokerStars Open Campione Main Event is anything to go by, PokerStars Open Monte-Carlo could be huge. Last month, the €1,100 PokerStars Open Campione Main Event drew in a staggering 2,423 entrants who created a €2,326,080 prize pool. PokerStars knew their new event would be popular, but nobody expected such a massive turnout. Adrian State of Romania triumphed in Campione, turning his €1,100 investment into €363,000.

Big Bet From Sader

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jinsuk Kim and Fadi Sader were heads up to the J4A flop, where both players checked.

The dealer flipped over the K turn, with Kim checking again in early position. Sader took a moment before counting out a bet of 15,000 chips in middle position.

Kim did not take not to let his hand go, as Sader raked in the pot.
