A huge roar of celebration went up from Table 44 from Fabrice Somers, and the reason became clear.
Somers was in a three-way all-in for his 79,000 stack with 5♦5♣ against Pascal Vos' Q♥Q♣, who had slightly less, and Alexandru Danes' A♠K♠, who covered Somers.
The pot looked to be heading to Vos after the 10♦6♥2♣ flop and 8♥ turn, but the 5♥ appeared on the river, to give Somers a set, bust Vos, and damage Danes.
With around 32,000 in the middle on a board of A♣9♥7♦7♥, Sascha Weinber checked to Sebastien Guinand on the button, who fired out a bet of 20,000.
Weinber check-jammed for around 82,500, and Guinand went into the tank.
The clock was called, and before the tournament director arrived, Guinand made the call.

Weinber was ahead, and a chopped seem possible, but Guinand found the 8♥ on the river in miraculous fashion to take the pot with a better two pair.
Rick Krekel was raking in a triple-up of his roughly 60,000 stack, after knocking out Lukas Trzcinski and doubling through Cyril Richard.
Krekel had 10♣10♥, against opponents who both held ace-king, and it was a dream flop for Krekel as he left his opponents dead on J♦J♣10♠, the 8♠ turn and 5♥ river completing the board.
Nugzar Glonti opened to 3,000, before Matthieu Ferron three-bet jammed for 16,500. Helmut Phung made it 35,000 to go, and the rest of the table folded, including Glonti.

It was off to the races, but Ferron flopped a set, and ended up with a full house, on the 9♠5♥3♣3♥3♦ runout.

Marc Tusch opened to 3,000 from middle position, and received a call from Harpreet Gill in the small blind.
Gill check-called versus a bet of 2,000 from Tusch on the K♦5♣2♥ flop, and then check-folded, albeit reluctantly, versus a bet of 6,000 from Tusch on the A♠ turn.
There was an open under the gun, which was called by Dirk Weidmann in the next seat, the small blind, and Omar Lakhdari in the big blind.
The K♦Q♦7♣ flop was checked to the 8♥ turn, where Lakhdari led out with a bet of 7,500 when the small blind checked. Only Weidmann called to see the 5♠ river.
Lakhdari fired out a bet of 25,000, leaving himself 1,000 behind, and looked dismayed when Weidmann quickly called.
Lakhdari tabled 9♦5♦ for the missed flopped flush draw which rivered bottom pair, and Weidmann took the pot with A♥Q♣ for second pair queens.
Lakhdari was left with 1,000, and busted shortly after.
