In the 2023 Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker (PACOOP), Event #47: $200 No Limit Hold’em Sunday Special Championship was held with a guarantee of $125,000. A total of 744 players participated in the event, vying for the top prize of $23,482 and the trophy. Ultimately, “mbw2388" emerged victorious.

At the final table, "mbw2388" managed to catch some good cards but also dominated the competition with their bold and aggressive gameplay. They fearlessly went up against other players at the table, ultimately propelling them to a head-to-head battle for the championship against Zach "KennytheRipper" Gruneberg. Despite a few intense hands, "mbw2388" maintained a substantial chip lead and emerged victorious after just five hands of heads-up play with Gruneberg.

Final Table Action

The final table began with the elimination of "cheten95", whose pocket sevens lost to "mbw2388" ace-queen. Shortly after that, "Great Daneo" was also eliminated when their king-queen could not beat "mbw2388"'s ace-deuce.

"CallYourMommy" was eliminated after they limped the small blind and induced a jam from "ValueBluffRiver" in the big blind. "CallYourMommy" was holding aces, but "ValueBluffRiver" hit a straight after a brutal runout. "ValueBluffRiver" would face an even worse cooler to hit the rail after their rivered full house fell to the rivered straight flush of "Schnauzer17972".

"Jesushadgr8abs" was eliminated in fifth place after their ace-five fell to the queen-nine of "peiffer12" when a nine hit the flop. Shortly after that, "Schnauzer17972" was eliminated when their pocket queens lost to the flush of "peiffer12".

The play came down to a heads-up match between Gruneberg and “mbw2388” and concluded after only five hands. "mbw2388" opened the action on the button, and Gruneberg went all in from the blinds. "mbw2388" called, and they played out the full board to determine the winner of the tournament. Unfortunately, Gruneberg had to settle for second place as his king-seven could not surpass the ace-ten of the eventual champion, “mbw2388”.

"Rogggggy" emerged victorious in Event #45: $50 NLHE Marathon, taking home$3,907."RandyLahey SV" topped the field in Event #46: $10 NLHE Sunday Starter, earning $1,297. PokerStarsNJ Ambassador David "DavidKayePoker" Kaye claimed victory in Event #47: $200 NLHE Sunday Special Championship, winning a prize of $29,343. "phillychzsteak" finished first in Event #48: $30 NLHE Mini Sunday Special, taking home $5,967. "Kingston511" won Event #50: $100 PLO 5-Max, earning $2,971. Meanwhile, Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski won his third and fourth COOP titles on the same day in Event #51: $50 NLHE Bounty Builder Adrenaline 6-Max PKO.

The 88Q flop quickly checked through to a 9 turn. "mbw2388" led for 621,000 and got a call from both players on their way to J river.

"Schnauzer17972" then lead jammed the river for 3,286,112. Only "ValueBluffRiver" called and the cooler was real.

"ValueBluffRiver" tabled JJ for a rivered boat and "Schnauzer17972" tabled 910 for a rivered straight flush to eliminate "ValueBluffRiver" in 6th place.
