Day 1 Completed
After seven and a half hours of play, a field of 1,013 entries has been whittled down to just 89. Leading the way is "Great Daneo", with 3,840,578, nearly one million more than "Lirek154" in second. Amazingly, "KennytheRipper" will be looking for his third consecutive PACOOP title , after winning side events each of the last two days, for over $7,000 combined. Keith "whoopsboom" Becker is also still alive with just over a million in chips,
The action will pick up again tomorrow at 7 PM ET, and play will continue until a winner is decided. The 89 remaining players have all locked up at least $769.34, but they are all hoping they will be taking home the $46,319.13 first place prize. As always, Pokernews.com will be here to bring you all of the action, so be sure to come back then!

The opening day of the 2020 PACOOP Main Event is finished Stay tuned for a recap to be posted shortly.
There are now less than 100 players as the 15,000-30,000 level is now starting, and as the title indicates, that will be the final level of the evening. At 12:30 AM ET, the tournament will stop, and the remaining players will come back tomorrow at 7 PM ET.
Blinds: 12,500-25,000
"ToddLaxmen" raised it up to 50,000, and "Lirek154", who started the hand as the massive chip leader with over three million, reraised to 150,000 on the button. It folded back to "ToddLaxmen", and he moved all in for his final 919,000. "Lirek154" thought for a bit before calling, creating a pot of nearly two million chips.

. Another three on the turn meant that only a third three could secure a chop for "Lirek154", but a four came instead.
Just like that, "ToddLaxmen" is one of our leaders with 1.9 million, while "Lirek154" is still in fine shape with nearly 2.4 million.

One of the biggest storylines remaining in this tournament is that of "KennytheRipper", who has simply been on fire this weekend. On Friday, he bested a field of 67 players to win $2,369, and yesterday, he added $5,133.43 more to his account when he won the $20,000 Guaranteed Turbo Event.
Well, "KennytheRipper" has his eyes on the much bigger first place prize in this event, and he is in the 10% of the field right now, with a stack of over 1.3 million. Stay tuned to see if he is able to make it through to tomorrow's finals!
