Action of the Day

A total of 35 players finished in the money in this event. Some of the notables who failed to make the money included Andrew "And_Porter" Porter, Aubrey "RiverMeDaddy" Williams, and Mark "NaigoPA" Foresta. On the other hand,Jeff "TheSwagWagoon" Stellwagon (29th) and Vince "FuglyFunGuy" Lestingi (17th) would finish in the money, but bust short of the final table.

"JesusTrackTeamC" actually started out the final table as one of the shorter stacks, but it didn't take them long to rise up the counts. They would get up to over a million before the biggest pot of the final table, where they would flop a set of kings, and then turn quads to secure a massive double up.

"JesusTrackTeamC" actually wouldn't secure a knockout at the final table until they busted "KnightsofNight" in fourth place. "JesusTrackTeamC" had another monster hand in that one, pocket aces, and bested the flop top pair of their opponent.

"JesusTrackTeamC" would then win a flip to bust "fubadbeatbob" in third place, before making quick work of "dubbadell" heads up.

Congratulations again to "JesusTrackTeamC" for turning their $250 investment into a five figure payday. There will be more stories like this throughout the next two weeks here at Pokernews. Check out the upcoming PACOOP schedule below, and don't forget that there are more COOP events going on elsewhere in the states!

"dubbadell" Eliminated in 2nd Place ($8,190)

Blinds: 40,000/80,000

"dubbadell" moved all in preflop for their final 942,667, and "JesusTrackTeamC" put them at risk holding {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. "dubbadell" was drawing very live with {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, but their hopes dwindled after the flop came down {j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave "JesusTrackTeamC" the nut flush draw, but the river was the {4-Spades} giving them an unnecessary pair.

"dubbadell" will have to settle for $8,190 and second place, while "JesusTrackTeamC" earns the PACOOP title, along with $11,094 in prize money. Stay tuned for a full recap to be posted shortly.

Michael "fubadbeatbob" McNicholas Eliminated in 3rd Place ($6,046)

Blinds: 35,000/70,000

"JesusTrackTeamC" raised to 148,775, and from the small blind, Michael "fubadbeatbob" McNicholas shoved for just over a million chips. "JesusTrackTeamC" called about a third of their stack with {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, and it was a classic race, as McNicholas showed pocket threes.

The flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} brought flush draw outs for "JesusTrackTeamC", and the {6-Hearts} turn also meant a ten would flip the script as well. The {2-Clubs} came on the river, giving "JesusTrackTeamC" a winning flush, and getting us to heads up play!

"KnightsofNight" Eliminated in 4th Place ($4,464)

Blinds: 35,000/70,000

"JesusTrackTeamC" raised it up to 146,775, and "KnightsofNight" called to see the flop come down {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. "KnightsofNight" checked, and "JesusTrackTeamC" continued for 154,775. "KnightsofNight" check raised it to 412,300, only to see "JesusTrackTeamC" move all in for 1,772,689.

"KnightsofNight" called all in for about 1,200,000 with {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}, but the top pair on board was far behind the aces shown by "JesusTrackTeamC." The {2-Diamonds} on the turn meant only another queen would change things now, but the {5-Diamonds} came instead, giving "JesusTrackTeamC" an unnecessary flush.

"1Boomswitch" Eliminated in 5th Place ($3,295)

Blinds: 25,000/50,000

"1Boomswitch" was down to less than four big blinds when they shoved from the button. "fubadbeatbob" made the call with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and interestingly enough, "1Boomswitch" showed the royal flush partners {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop of {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs} gave "fubadbeatbob" trip queens, and meant "1Boomswitch" would need running jacks or kings now. However, the board finished our running fours, which changed nothing in the hand.

"steelpens84" Eliminated in 6th Place ($2,433)

Blinds: 25,000/50,000

"steelpens84" opened the action by shoving all in for 393,968, and from the big blind, "dubbadell" would call holding {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. "steelpens84" was flipping holding {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}, but they would be all but dead after the flop of {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} gave "dubbadell" middle set.

"steelpens84" would need running cards to survive now, but the board finished out with running deuces to give "dubbadell" a full house.

"JesusTrackTeamC" Doubles Into the Chip Lead With Quads

Blinds: 25,000/50,000

The trend so far at this final table seems to be that if you give a double up, you will get one in return. "JesusTrackTeamC" just benefited from this in the biggest pot of the final table so far.

"JesusTrackTeamC" started the action by raising to 101,000, only to see "1BoomSwitch" move all in from the big blind. "JesusTrackTeamC" would call for over a million chips holding {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, and they were dominating the queens shown by "1BoomSwitch."

The flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} gave "JesusTrackTeamC" top set, but actually gave "1BoomSwitch" an extra outs, as one of the four remaining tens would work now. However, the {k-Clubs} came right on the turn, giving "JesusTrackTeamC" unbeatable quad kings.

Jeff "TheSwagWagoon" Stellwagon Gets Unlucky to Bust

Blinds: 3,500/7,000

"fubadbeatbob" raised to 14,000, and Jeff "TheSwagWagoon" Stellwagon moved all in, barely having them covered. "fubadbeatbob" called with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, but they were miles behind the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} shown by Stellwagon. That all changed, however, after the flop came down {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Now Stellwagon was looking for a two outer, but it didn't come on the turn or the river.

That hand left Stellwagon with less than a small blind, and he would bust out on the next hand.
