Welcome to Day 1 of PACOOP 61: $300 NLHE [Main Event - Championship Trophy Event], $200K Gtd
Welcome to the penultimate day of PACOOP action on PokerNews which kicks off with the PACOOP Main Event. With a buy-in of $300 and a guaranteed prizepool of $200,000 it is expected that this tournament will garner over 700 entries.
This is a two-day event with Day 1 getting underway this evening at 6 p.m. ET. Blinds start at 250/500 with a 50 running ante and all players will receive a 100,000 starting stack. Levels will increase every 15 minutes.
The event has four hours and 20 minutes of late registration and players can have a total of five re-entries in this period. The day closes at 1:30 a.m. ET with Day 2 resuming on September 27 at 6 p.m. ET.

Zach "KennytheRipper" Gruneberg leads the list of notable names of those registered to the tournament so far.
The poker player has $2,006,001 in total live earnings with a career best score of $490,617, following his second-place finish in the 2016 $3,500 No Limit Hold'em WPT Main Event at the WPT Borgata Poker Open, Atlantic City.
Dean "BDGEJLM" Morrow is another highlight in the list of players ready to battle. The United States national won his maiden WSOP Gold bracelet last month after taking down 2021 WSOP.com PA Online Bracelet Events Event #4: $400 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max for $35,480.
