Matt "5u1ly" Sullivan Scores Double Elimination

Level 7 (500/1,000/125)

In the last hand of the level, Matt "5u1ly" Sullivan raised to 2,120 from the hijack and the short-stacked Barrett "AndrewYang2020" Lipkin called off for 775 from the cutoff. "kadelock" called from the button, "tlamb43" did the same from the big blind, and there was a side pot headed to the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop.

Two checks opened the door for "kadelock" to bet 5,500 and "tlamb43" got out of the way. Sullivan responded by check-raising all in and "kadelock" called off the 21,459 they had behind.

Matt "5u1ly" Sullivan: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Barrett "AndrewYang2020" Lipkin: {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
"kadelock": {9-Spades}{k-Spades}

Sullivan was ahead with top pair while "kadelock" had straight and flush draws. the {j-Diamonds} turn made it trips for Sullivan and he scored the double knockout after the {4-Clubs} peeled off on the river.

"korbaker" Done in By "65freak777"

Level 7 (500/1,000/125)

"65freak777" min-raised to 2,000 under the gun and called when "korbaker" three-bet jammed for 8,127 from the small blind.

"65freak777": {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
"korbaker": {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop paired "65freak777" but also gave "korbaker" a gutshot to Broadway. The {k-Clubs} turn gave the latter even more outs, but the {5-Diamonds} river was not one of them.

"korbaker" missed and was eliminated from the tournament.

"Archer1018" Misses the Mark

Level 4 (300/600/75)

"Faller195" limped under the gun and was met by an all-in raise to 7,238 from "Archer1018" two spots over. Action folded back to "Faller195" and they called.

"Faller195": {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
"Archer1018": {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The {5-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} flop gave "Faller195" a set, which meant when the {4-Hearts} appeared on the turn "Archer1018" was drawing dead. The meaningless {4-Spades} was run out on the river and "Archer1018" bowed out of the tournament.

"Floydmustache" Hits the Rail

Level 3 (250/500/60)

"PurePleasure12" opened for 1,500 under the gun and "Floydmustache" raised all in for 2,640. Event 10-H: $200 NLHE [Super Tuesday SE], $25K GTD champ "RealizeRealLies" called from the cutoff and after the button and blinds all got out of the way, "PurePleasure12" made it 6,000 to go.

"RealizeRealLies" called and there was a side pot on the line. Both active players checked the {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop as well as the {5-Diamonds} turn, and then "PurePleasure12" bet 10,000 on the {k-Diamonds} river.

"RealizeRealLies" called only to much when "PurePleasure12" tabled the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for the flopped flush. "Floydmustache" mucked as well and was eliminated from the tournament.

Early Pot for Brett "Homie Sr" Freiler

Level 3 (250/500/60)

Brett "Homie Sr" Freiler opened for 1,100 from early position and "MrMajic03" called from the hijack. "SQU0ZE" then three-bet to 4,500 from the cutoff and action folded back to Freiler, who called. "MrMajic03" got out of the way and it was heads-up action to the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop.

Freiler check-called a bet of 5,200 and then another one of 10,500 on the {10-Spades} turn.

When the {7-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, action went check-check and Freiler tabled the {q-Spades}{a-Spades} for top pair.

It was good as "SQU0ZE" mucked.
