Gruneberg Scores Another Knockout

Level 17 (3,000/6,000/875)

Short stack "Dkoot74" moved all in for 35,000 and change, and Zach "KennytheRipper" Gruneberg called in the big blind holding {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. He was ahead of the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} of "Dkoot74", and he would hold that lead on the runout of {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

This get us down to just 13 players, meaning the money bubble is almost here. Remember, only the top 11 will be in the money tonight.

Full Double For "ToddLaxmen"

Level 17 (3,000/6,000/750)

"ToddLaxmen" min raised to 12,000, and "A Frequent ?" called in the big blind. The flop of {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} saw "A Frequent ?" check call a bet of 12,000. The {8-Hearts} turn saw "A Frequent ?" check call another bet, 30,000 this time, and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board.

A third check from "A Frequent ?" saw "ToddLaxmen" move all in for 147,000 and change. "A Frequent ?" thought for a bit before calling with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, but he was always behind, as "ToddLaxmen" held {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} for bottom set.

Big Double Up For "ToddLaxmen"

Level 16 (2,500/5,000/625)

"ToddLaxmen" raised to 10,000 on the button, and in the big blind, "fubadbeatbob" moved all in for nearly 190,000. It was a massive raise, but one that "ToddLaxmen" was game for, as he called with {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. He was dominating the pocket sevens of "fubadbeatbob", and he held that lead on the runout of {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Full House for "ickyflakes"

Level 15 (2,000/4,000/500)

"ickyflakes" raised to 8,000 on the button, and he was called by both blinds. The flop came down {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and action checked to "ickyflakes" , who continued for 8,725. Only "Mr Loat" in the small blind called, and the {q-Spades} hit the turn. This time, "ickyflakes" bet 33432, and "Mr Loat" called once again.

The river brought the {9-Spades}, and this time, "Mr Loat" took the intuitive by moving all in for 73,502. His timing was unfortunate though, as "ickyflakes" quickly called with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a full house. It was easily good against the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of "Mr Loat", who was sent to the rail.

Double Up for "pariszoo11"

Level 14 (1,750/3,500/450)

"pariszoo11" kicked off the action with a raise to 7,000, and in the big blind, "iamsmirk" moved all in, easily having "pariszoo11" covered. He would call with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and he was flipping against the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of "iamsmirk."

The flop of {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} gave "pariszoo11" top set. "iamsmirk" picked up some hope with the {8-Spades} turn, as another spade would chop, and a seven would provide an unlikely win, but the {2-Diamonds} completed the board instead.

"MarcZumoff" On Right Side of Flip

Level 13: (1,500/3,000/375)

"ChrundleTheGr8" moved all in for his final 35,000 and change, and "MarcZumoff" made the call in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. He was flipping against pocket fives, and shot out to the lead on the queen high flop. A third queen came on the turn, and he filled up by the river, to give "MarcZumoff" the win.
