Lady Gaga No Good for Lin

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Matthias Auer was in the cutoff in a heads-up pot against Ren Lin on the button with the board reading {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

Auer bet on the turn and Lin called. Auer then bet 7,000 on the {j-Clubs} river and Lin agonized over a decision as he showed the {q-Hearts} in his hand.

"Lady Gaga again!" Lin said about his favorite hand before folding.

Auer let Lin see one card and he flipped over the {a-Clubs}.

"Aces?!" Lin said before revealed he had been holding pocket queens.

Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Timothy Adams limped in from the small blind before Christoph Vogelsang made it 800 from the big blind. Adams called.

Adams check-called a bet of 1,200 on the {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop before the {9-Hearts} turn and {2-Diamonds} river checked through to showdown.

Adams tabled his {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} for ace-high. Vogelsang also had ace-high with his {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, but the latter won the pot thanks to his kicker.

Armstrong Coolers Veldhuis

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

PokerNews picked up the action on a heads-up pot between Lex Veldhuis and Connor Armstrong. Veldhuis was the first to act from the small blind on a completed board of {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and he bet 2,100.

Armstrong then put in a big raise to 13,000 and Velduis quickly threw in a call chip.

Unfortunately for Veldhuis, Armstrong turned over {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nut flush while he disgustedly showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the second nut flush.

PSPC Platinum Pass winner Daniel Herrada opened to 600 from the cutoff and was called Sasan Mehrabian from the small blind. Andrew Chen then three-bet to 3,700 and only Herrad called.

Herrada called a bet of 2,500 on the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop which brought in the {5-Diamonds} turn. Chen fired another bet of 9,000 and Herrada folded.

Chen was kind enough to show his {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for a flopped set.

Hendrix Gets Paid, Cho Pleads for More Players

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A completed board of {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} was spread across the felt with Adam Hendrix and Manuel Aljouhari heads-up in a pot with around 12,000 in the middle. Hendrix tossed in a bet of 10,000 on the river and Aljouhari looked him up.

Hendrix flipped over {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush while Aljouhari could only muster two pair with {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

After the hand was over, Arden Cho started to plead for some more players to join their five-handed table. "I hope we get some more players, I'm the only one who doesn't know what they're doing here."

Cho, an American actress, finds herself at a table of professional poker players including Sergio Aido and Ben Heath. "I'm just waiting for aces and hope I double up. I don't even know how to bluff," she continued.
