Orpaz, who made headlines in 2020 for purchasing the most expensive apartment in the world, went on a tear at EPT Barcelona that saw him winning €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em and €50,000 Super High Roller Second Chance for two trophies and over $1 million in winnings, proving he can hold his own among the top pros. PokerNews caught up with Orpaz, who has proven to be one of the most entertaining and talkative players on typically reserved High Roller Circuit.

Action folded to the button who opened to 1,000. The small blind folded and Doug Weider called from the big blind.

The Q♦A♣K♦ flop hit the felt and Weider check-called a 1,500 bet from the button.

The 7♣ landed on the turn and Weider checked again. The button sized up and went for a bet of 4,000. Weider called again.

The 4♥ landed on the river and Weider checked. The button checked behind and Weider tabled Q♣4♣ for a flopped pair, turned flush draw, and rivered two pair. The button mucked and Weider dragged a sizable pot.

Action was opened under the gun to 600. He got three callers before action was on Hengzhen Zhang in the cutoff who three-bet to 3,000. The button called, the blinds folded, and then every other player that was still in the hand called.

They were off to a flop six ways in a three-bet pot.

The J♥4♣3♥ flop landed and it checked to Zhang in the cutoff who continued for 7,000. The button called, under the gun folded and then it was on a player in early position who put in a large check-raise to 22,000.

The other players got out of the way and action was back on Zhang who thought it over and then put in a flop three-bet all in having the other players covered. The button folded and the early position player called off for his tournament life.

Hengzhen Zhang: J♠J♦

Zhang had already hit gin in the form of top set but needed to fade some hearts. The turn brought a K♦ and the river a Q♦ to seal the deal and ship Zhang a monster pot and a great story if he runs deep.

Viva Las Vegas! The PokerStars NAPT Returns on November 4

The PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is returning after a 12-year hiatus, and where better to get the show on the road than fabulous Las Vegas? November 4-12 are the dates to highlight in your diaries because that is when NAPT Las Vegas heads to Resorts World in "Sin City."

The 2023 NAPT Las Vegas takes place just one week before the most anticipated Formula 1 Grand Prix in history, which takes place through the streets of Las Vegas. PokerStars will be there, Oracle Red Bull Racing will be there, will you?

Although primarily aimed at the North American market, the NAPT is open to all, and PokerNews expects players to travel from far and wide to get involved in this historic rebirth. A $1,650 buy-in NAPT Las Vegas Main Event runs from November 6-11, and a $550 PokerStars Cup is scheduled for November 9-12, with a $5,300 High Roller attracting the biggest names between November 10-12. The full 2023 NAPT Las Vegas schedule will be released in due course.

Steve Preiss, Vice President for PokerStars North America, cannot wait for the first NAPT in 12 years to shuffle up and deal at Resorts World.

Weng Pushing the Action Again

Action was opened under the gun to 500. It folded to Arshdeep Virk in the cutoff who three-bet to 1,600. Bin Weng was on the button and put in a cold four-bet to 4,500. The original raiser folded and action was back on Virk who called.

The A♣K♣7♣ flop landed and Virk check-called a 2,300 continuation bet from Weng.

The 7♥ was on the turn and Virk checked again. Weng gathered some chips and put out a bet of 5,600. Virk called.

The river landed a K♠ and after Virk checked Weng moved all in. Virk tanked for a few moments but eventually thought better of it as he let the hand go.

Corvino Sets the Tone

Action folded to the button who opened to 500. The small blind then three-bet to 2,500. Action was then on William Corvino in the big blind who took his time before gathering enough chips to put in a cold four-bet to the tune of 6,000.

The button thought it over and then mucked and action was back on the three-bettor in the small blind. He looked over his opponent and counted his chips but eventually landed on a fold.

Corvino dragged in a nice pot without even seeing a flop and set the tone early at his table.
