Action opened under the gun to 300 by Gary Braufman. He got called by the cutoff and the small blind.
The A♥5♣10♦ flop hit the felt and Braufman bet 600 when it was checked to him. He only got a call from the small blind.
The 10♥ landed on the turn and Braufman fired again for 1,100. The small blind called again.
The 9♠ landed on the river and the small blind checked one more time. Braufman put out the final bet of 1,500 but could not get any more action as the small blind folded.

Action was opened under the gun by Adam "Barstool Smitty" Smith when he went all in blind on the very first hand of the tournament. It folded all the way to a player in the big blind who also had not looked at his cards and he said one thing,"lets do it," before making the call.
Both players saw their cards for the first time:
Adam Smith: K♠8♦
Big Blind: 8♣3♥
The full board ran out 7♦4♥5♠A♣Q♠ and with just king-high, Smith snagged a double-up and a knockout on the very first hand.
Yesterday the first flight of Event #2: $1,100 No Limit Hold’em at the PokerStars Summer Series at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia kicked off and it was a huge success. Today players hoping to cash in on the $300,000 guarantee will make their way to Philadelphia to duke it out in Flight 1b.
Last night Robert Elias bagged the chip lead with a massive 776,000 stack. Will someone else best this number by the end of the day? Only time will tell. Yesterday also brought multiple notable players to Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia to battle it out. With the success of Day 1a there will likely be more crushers making their way here from the greater tristate area.
