Lasalle Makes Great River Call
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
There was a button open to 2,500 before Sean Lasalle called from the big blind.
The 8♥7♦3♥ flop hit the felt and Lasalle check-called a 2,800 bet from the button on their way to a 3♣ turn.
Lasalle check-called another bet of 6,300 and they were off to an A♣ river. It was checked to the button one last time and he put out a bet of 11,300.
Lasalle went into the tank for a moment and then put in the chips. The button knuckled the table as if to say he was good and showed 10♦9♥. Lasalle tabled 10♠8♠ for one pair but it was more than good enough to scoop.
