Dodd Draws the Fold

Action was opened in late position to 16,000. There was a call from the cutoff and then Ryan Dodd called from the big blind. The players were off to a flop three ways.

The 3♥A♠9♣ flop landed and action quickly checked through to a 5♦ turn. Dodd led out for 35,000. He got a call from the original raiser and the cutoff folded.

The river brought a 6♠ and Dodd went into the tank. After about a minute he led for a large sizing of 135,000. The original raiser thought for about a minute before eventually finding a fold.

Dodd dragged a big one after some well-timed aggression.

Book's Turn Card Stuns the Table

Action was opened on the button to 16,000. Christopher Book was in the small blind and three-bet to 45,000. The button put in a four-bet to 100,000. Book smooth-called.

The 9♣2♠6♦ flop hit the felt and after only a few moments of thinking, Book ripped it in having his opponent covered. The button snap called.

Christopher Book: K♣K♠

Book was dominated, but the dealer came with some help in the form of the K♥ right there on the turn. The river 6♥ sealed the deal and Book scooped a massive pot after being on both the wrong end and ultimately right end of a cooler.

Byars Gets the Best Hand to Fold

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was opened by Sean Byars in middle position to 20,000. Action then folded to a player in late position who three-bet to 45,000. The button flat called and action was back on Byars. He took his time but eventually landed on a four-bet jam to about 255,000. The player in late position shook his head and accidentally flashed pocket 10s as he folded. The button player then surprisingly put in the chips for a call.

The 3♠10♦10♠ flop was gut wrenching for the three-bettor who folded as he would have hit quads. The 9♦ turn and 9♥ river sealed the deal and Byars scooped a big pot after getting what would have been the best hand to fold preflop.

Book Pulls in Another Big One

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was opened under the gun to 22,000. Christopher Book flat called from middle position and the blinds both called.

The 6♥5♠4♦ flop checked to the original raiser who continued for 32,000. Book called, the small blind folded, and then the big blind check-raised all in for about 62,000. Both players called.

The Q♠ turn checked through to a 6♠ river. Both players checked again and the cards hit their backs.

The big blind showed 8♣3♣ for a flopped open ender that missed. Under the gun tabled 7♠7♦ and Book would win with J♠J♣. He is now sitting towards the top of the leaderboards.

Dangelico Gets it in Behind

Action folded to Mike Dangelico in late position who went all in for about 250,000. The next player to act on the button flat called and the small blind folded. It was then on the big blind who three-bet jammed for 475,000. The button folded and the players were off to a full board heads up.

Big Blind: Q♥Q♠

The J♠7♠3♥ flop would not bring any help for Dangelico but the dealer then burned and turned a 10♥ giving Dangelico life and putting him right back in his seat. The A♦ river would be irrelevant and Dangelico would triple up after a very favorable turn card.

Aquilias Get a Double and a Knockout

Action folded to Robert Aquilias in middle position who went all in for about 150,000. It then folded to a player in the small blind who rejammed for just a few thousand less chips. The big blind folded and the cards were tabled.

The full board ran out Q♥K♠6♥7♣10♦ and Aquilias would get a full double along with a knockout.
