Keller Fires Three Streets

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action was opened under the gun by Trevor Keller to 300. It folded to the button who flicked in the call and the small blind also called.

The 222 flop hit the felt and after the small blind checked Keller continued for 400. The button called and the small blind folded.

The 6 landed on the turn and Keller fired again for 500. The button took almost no time and put in the chips.

The dealer burned and rivered the 3 and Keller only thought for a moment before firing the last shell, this time to the tune of 2,100. The button thought it over for a few moments before making the fold.

Keller dragged a small pot early to gain some momentum as play kicked off.

Nguyen Gets Tricky

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

The action was opened from middle position to 400. The button called and Thien Nguyen called from the small blind.

The 736 flop landed and Nguyen quickly took the opportunity to lead for 1,000. He got a call from middle position and the button.

The turn brought the A and Nguyen slowed down and checked. Without too much thought, the player in middle position bet 2,000. The button folded and action was back on Nguyen who flicked in a call.

The 3 hit the river and Nguyen put his foot back on the the gas and led out for a large bet of 5,000.

Middle position snap-folded and Nguyen dragged a healthy pot to end Level 1.

Marsella Wins a Big One

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

There was a limp in early position followed by a raise from middle position to 600. Pete Marsella called from the button. There was then a call from the small blind, big blind, and early position limper. The players were off to a flop five ways.

The AJ4 flop hit the felt and action checked to the original raiser who continued for 1,600. Marsella called from the button and the small blind called. The other three players folded.

The J landed on the turn and the small blind checked. The original raiser took a rare line and downbet to 1,200. Marsella thought it over and opted to raise to 2,400. The small blind folded and the original raiser called.

The river brought a 6 and middle position checked. Marsella bet 3,100. The original raiser went into the tank and eventually flicked in a call.

"I have a Jack" Marsella said to his opponent and rolled over J9. The original raiser knuckled the table and said "good hand," before tossing his cards to the muck.
