Holz Bluffs, Left Short

Level 6 : Blinds 1,250/2,500, 325 ante

The action folded to Jonathan "x_zola25" Skovsen in the cutoff and he raised to 5,500. Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz sat in the small blind and was the only caller. Holz then check-called a 5,313 bet from Skovsen on the Q10K flop before leading out for 8,018 chips on the A turn.

Skoves looked him up and called the 12,829 bet from Holz on the 6 river as well. Holz could only show 87 for a missed flush draw and Skovsen had the winner with his K10 for flopped two pair.

Odeen Gives Up on the River

Level 6 : Blinds 1,250/2,500, 325 ante

It folded to Jerry "Perrymesjen" Odeen on the button and he made a raise to 6,250. "bbernardinho" was sitting in the big blind and opted to defend.

"bbernardinho" checked the J6Q flop and Odeen bet 5,069. His opponent stuck around with a call and the A turn fell. "bbernardinho" checked again and Odeen then fired a pot-sized bet of 26,488 chips. Again, "bbernardinho" made the call and the 5 river completed the board.

Both players then checked it down, and "bbernardinho" showed down A10 for the winner.

Glaser Joins the Fray

Level 6 : Blinds 1,250/2,500, 325 ante

In the midst of all the action, COOP phenomenon Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser has taken his seat in the Main Event. He was sitting on the button with a stack of 135,000 when he made a raise to 5,625. Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak sat in the big blind and made the call.

The flop was dealt 6Q3 and Glaser continued with a bet of 6,040 after a check from Novak. Novak made the call and did so too for the 15,000 Glaser put out on the 8 turn.

The river then fell the J and both players checked. Novak showed his Q7 and Glaser was forced to muck his cards as he could not beat the pair of queens of his opponent.

Sturm On Bullet Two

Level 6 : Blinds 1,250/2,500, 325 ante

Leon "RUMUKULUS" Sturm was down to his final 6,780 chips, which he put all in from the hijack. "I Attack95" made the call from the big blind and their cards were revealed.

Leon "RUMUKULUS" Sturm: K6
"I Attack95": K10

"I Attack95" flopped trips on the 10A10 flop and had his opponent drawing dead on the 9 turn. The J river was but a formality and Sturm made an instant reentry, getting right back into the action on the same seat.

Peter "pitaoufmg" Patricio kicked off the preflop action with a raise to 4,000 from middle position. Roman "RomeOpro" Romanovsky then three-bet to 13,000 from the hijack and "dimiangelako" cold-called from the button.

Juan "xPastorcitox" Pastor then made it 44,000 to go from the small blind, which was enough to make Patricio fold his hand. Romanovsky, on the other hand, opted to five-bet jam his 218,710 chips in the middle, receiving a call from "dimiangelako", who was playing 152,426 chips.

Pastor had seen enough and let go of his holding, and the other two players shared a showdown.

"dimiangelako" sought gold with his suited connector, and the board brought them some hope on the 661068 runout. However, none of their outs came on the 4 river and the Greek player surrendered his chips to Romanovsky.

Not much later, "dimiangelako" sat back down in the same seat with a fresh stack of 250,000 chips, hoping for better luck this time around.

Grafton Goes Huge

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 250 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

"Uki.KRK" raised to 4,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Sam "SamSquid" Grafton in the big blind, who opted to defend. Both players then checked the Q55 flop before Grafton fired a huge bet 30,000 chip bet on the 4 turn, almost three times the size of the pot.

That did not deter "Uki.KRK" from making the call, however, and the 4 river was dealt thereafter. Grafton decided to go for another big over-bet, for a total of 150,000 this time, still more than double the pot.

"Uki.KRK" looked Grafton up for the final time, and the PokerStars Ambassador could only show 87 for a failed bluff attempt. Meanwhile, "Uki.KRK" was sitting on AA for pocket aces, which won him the gigantic pot.
