Two familiar names joined the elite six-time champion club on Thursday night at WCOOP, as Andras “probirs” Nemeth and "roo_400" both secured career title number six in their respective events.

Nemeth Continues PLO Dominance

Nemeth has built a reputation as one of the most consistent performers in Pot-Limit Omaha, and he added another accolade by winning the $1,050 PLO [6-Max] (WCOOP 21-H). The two-day championship event drew 136 entries, generating a $136,000 prize pool.

Nemeth collected $28,547 for first place, with jedimaster82 taking second for $21,942 and Markus “O.Klunssila” Ristola completing the podium for $16,866. The victory was Nemeth’s fourth PLO title at WCOOP, and his sixth overall, with all of them coming since 2020.

roo_400 Returns to the Winner’s Circle; Spraggy Makes the Final Table

In the $530 NLHE Turbo Progressive KO (WCOOP 29-H), it was long-time grinder roo_400 who emerged victorious. The event attracted 201 entries to create a $100,500 prize pool, with half going to the regular payouts and half to the bounty pool.

roo_400 banked $21,870 in total after defeating "ch1nE5eMaN" heads-up. The win marked their first WCOOP title since 2022, when they completed a rare hat trick of victories in a single series.

The final also featured PokerStars ambassador Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg, who bowed out in eighth place for just under $3,000.
