Sunday, September 28, was another busy day at the 2025 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) on PokerStars, with plenty of highlights across the schedule.

The headlines belonged to Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi, who captured the $530 NLHE [Supersonic] (WCOOP 113-H) for $33,157. It was his second WCOOP title in as many days, following on from Saturday’s $1,050 NLHE Deep Stack win for $39,725. Shakerchi now owns seven career WCOOP trophies.

Elsewhere, Dominykas “Mikensonas” Mikolaitis continued his love affair with WCOOP high rollers, taking down the $2,100 NLHE Progressive KO (WCOOP 102-H) for $68,543. The 2024 $5,200 6-Max Championship winner added a second WCOOP title with this latest victory.

Another standout was "DingeBrinker", who secured the $1,050 Sunday Cooldown Mystery Bounty (WCOOP 112-H) for $64,534. It marks his fourth WCOOP title since 2020.

On the mid-stakes front, "HenriquinAK" bagged $43,678 in the $320 NLHE Progressive KO (WCOOP 102-M), while Tudor “tdr01” Lazar earned his first WCOOP title in the $33 version (WCOOP 102-L) for $17,305.

WCOOP Main Events Underway

The spotlight on Sunday wasn’t just on side events. The WCOOP Main Events also got underway, with late registration still open across the board.

The $109 NLHE Main Event (WCOOP 108-L) has already drawn a staggering 16,672 entries, while the $1,050 edition (WCOOP 108-M) has 2,909 players in the hunt. The marquee $10,300 World Championship (WCOOP 108-H) sits at 325 entries so far, with more expected before the gates close.

The PLO specialists also get their shot at glory. The $109 PLO Main Event (WCOOP 111-L) attracted 1,727 entries, the $1,050 version (WCOOP 111-M) has 378, and the $10,300 PLO World Championship (WCOOP 111-H) stands at 44.
