Game Over for "xhalvisx"

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Supreme MrM vs xhalvisx Part II
Supreme MrM vs xhalvisx Part II

Norway's "xhalvisx" was well above the average not long ago before fortune struck for "Supreme MrM" just a few minutes ago. In a twist of fate, both would clash again and this time it was "Supreme MrM" with the superior hand.

"xhalvisx": {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
"Supreme MrM": {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and the kings held to vault the Brit above one million in chips.

Miracle Escape for "Supreme MrM"

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Supreme MrM vs xhalvisx Part II
Supreme MrM vs xhalvisx Part II

The UK's "Supreme MrM" picked the wrong time to get his chips in with {a-Spades}{k-Spades} as Norway's "xhalvisx" in the small blind looked them up with the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}.

Nothing changed on the {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop but the {q-Spades} turn opened up a flushdraw. Sure enough, the {10-Spades} appeared on the river to complete the miracle escape.

Another Bounty for Zancan

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

A min-raise to 20,000 by "bigre1979" on the button saw Matheus "MpZancan" Zancan jam out of the big blind and the initial raiser called to create a pot of nearly 33 big blinds.

"bigre1979": {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Matheus "MpZancan" Zancan: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Zancan was trailing preflop and that didn't change on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop or {q-Clubs} turn. However, the {k-Hearts} appeared on the river and that sent the chips and bounty to the Brazilian.

Nolet Left Short; Doubles

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet min-raised to 16,000 from under the gun and was called by Cathal "shinerrr" Shine in the big blind. They checked the {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and Shine bet the {10-Hearts} turn for 35,040, which Nolet called. On the {k-Diamonds} river, Shine bet 24,646 and Nolet raised to 125,937 with fewer than that behind.

What followed was the shove by Shine and Nolet reluctantly folded.

One hand later the Canadian was all-in with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} against the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of "The_Poker_G33k" and escaped from elimination thanks to a {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} board.

"roo_400" Chips Up

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Canada's "roo_400" raised to 17,600 and was called two ways including by "purrrt" in the small blind. The action checked to the {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} turn on which "purrrt" bet 36,000 and "roo_400" called. On the {6-Spades} river, "purrrt" bet another 105,600 and was caught bluffing with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} as "roo_400" looked them up with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for top pair.
