"Achuienas" and "Zhagy27SLO" On the Rail

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

"Zhagy27SLO" defended the big blind against a min-raise by "Chus1979" and check-called three barrels with their short stack on the {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} board with {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for kings up. "Chus1979" had that crushed with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the turned nut flush and scored the knockout.

Next to fall was "Achuienas who jammed the {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} from the small blind and was called by "wale44_" in the big blind with the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} runout kept the superior hand in the lead.

Filatov No More; Salter Thriving

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Filatov eliminated; Salter Doubles
Filatov eliminated; Salter Doubles

Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov saw his stack reduced to crumbs when {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the flopped nut flush draw on {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} failed to get there to crack the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of "Aduobe4". The {4-Spades} turn and {j-Diamonds} river were both blanks.

Filatov was not the next to depart on that table, however, as "icedavid" in the big blind called a shove by "Kurtkaare" in the small blind.

"icedavid": {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
"Kurtkaare": {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The board came {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and the eight was good enough for "Kurtkaare".

Up next on the same table, Filatov jammed his short stack and "tarantullv" raised. Jack "jackziyang" Salter reshoved for more than 1.5 million and eventually picked up a call by "tarantullv".

Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Jack "jackziyang" Salter: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
"tarantullv": {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

On a board of {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Salter made tens full of deuces and more than doubled.

Fewer Than 320 Remain

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

As expected, the early casualties keep on coming as the opening 15 minutes reduced the field to fewer than 320 players in contention. Some notable casualties can be found below.

Sintoras Runs Into Aces

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Sintoras vs WhoAreYoux1
Sintoras vs WhoAreYoux1

Right before the blinds went up, "Sintoras" opened to 2,000 and picked up a call by "tarantullv". Out of the big blind, "WhoAreYoux1" three-bet to 200,000 and "Sintoras" made it 460,000 to go with 697,892 behind. "tarantullv" folded and "WhoAreYoux1" jammed to pick up a call.

"Sintoras": {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
"WhoAreYoux1": {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and "Sintoras" was drawing dead on the turn already.

Clark Wins a Flip for a Bounty

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Germany's "88er*JSP" was all in with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} out of the small blind and Jon "luckyfish89" Clark looked them up from the big blind with the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and the nines faded the flush draw and overcards to earn a bounty prize.

"tarantullv" Joins the Big Stacks

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante
viejojuan5 eliminated by tarantullv
viejojuan5 eliminated by tarantullv

It was a big flip for more than two million in chips that decided over the fate of "viejojuan5" as he battled with "tarantullv" and the following cards were turned over in showdown.

"viejojuan5": {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
"tarantullv": {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

On a board of {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, "viejojuan5" fell behind right away on the flop and failed to catch any help.

Early Notable Eliminations

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

"Serebity_p" Loses Flip to Bust

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Among the first players to get their shorter stack in was "Serebity_p" from Romania who tabled the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} in showdown against "Strz", who had the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

Despite flopping a set, the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} board provided four diamonds and spelled the end for "Serebity_p".
