"asteras666" raised to 41,600 from the early position and Gabriel "aaurelio" Moura called in the cutoff. Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz three-bet to 180,000 from the button. The action folded back to Moura who four-bet to 507,000 for Holz to five-bet shove for 1,725,249 and Moura to call.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for Holz to flop a pair but the rest of the board was completed with the {4-Spades} on the turn and the {8-Hearts} on the river to not help him any further as he busted before the bubble.

There currently 867 players left in the field.

WCOOP 2020 Winner Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane Offers Advice on Dealing with Downswings after “turbulent but fun” 10 Years

Gavin Cochrane WCOOP

Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane has been playing for over a decade, usually tearing up cash games and occasionally crossing over into the tournament arena to put a few notches on his record. Last week, he won event 26-H for $63,236k, claiming the first WCOOP win of his illustrious poker career.

Speaking of his win, Cochrane says, “It feels like it’s about time! I’ve played enough WCOOPs. I’m happy to win in 5 card PLO, as I really enjoy playing that game.”

He describes his 10+ year long poker journey as “pretty turbulent, but lots of fun.”

Cochrane was once involved in some of the most insane cash games of all time, including regular $100/$200 sessions against players such as Viktor “Isildur1” Blom. In one particularly memorable session, Cochrane came off $600k in profit against Blom. Another time, Cochrane won $150k in a single hand against Scott Palmer.

“I had quite a lot of gamble in my twenties – loved the high stakes and big swings. But I feel that urge less these days,” says Cochrane. “I still have a lot of love for the game, but I have a very different relationship with poker these days. It doesn’t consume me like it used to.”

Tremzin Taken Down by Ilavsky

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Martin "Matto 23" Ilavsky raised to 40,800 from the middle position and Henrique "554477" Lessa called from the button which is what Gleb "Ti0373" Tremzin did too.

The flop came {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Tremzin shoved for 282,148 which only Ilavsky called.

Gleb "Ti0373" Tremzin: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}
Martin "Matto 23" Ilavsky: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

They had both flopped the flush draw but Ilavsky was ahead with the nut-flush draw.

The turn was the {2-Spades} for Tremzin to be left drawing dead as the {j-Diamonds} completed the board.
