Some of the notables to make Day 2 include WSOP bracelet winner Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic, UK's Ronan "Sw33ney" Sweeney, Brazilians Gabriel "aaurelio" Moura and Victor "Capitao1987" Faria, who handed out a devastating beat to end the day, and poker streamer and Team PokerStars Player Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot, who will start Day 2 as the short stack with just under eight big blinds.

Silva's Aces Cracked and is Eliminated at End of Day

Level 23 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante

Victor "Capitao1987" Faria open-shoved in early position and Miguel "inca7bar" Silva called off his 3,190,272 stack. Everyone else folded and Silva was the one at risk.

Victor "Capitao1987" Faria: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Miguel "inca7bar" Silva: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Silva was an overwhelming favorite to double, but the flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} to give Faria Broadway. The {8-Spades} turn left Silva looking for a queen just to chop, but the board completed with the {3-Spades}.

An absolutely devastating result for Silva, and at the same time, a very fortunate hand to end the day for Faria. That brings the number of players down to 27 and ends the day, which is scheduled to resume tomorrow as they play down to a winner.

Stay tuned for the full chip counts of the final three tables and a recap of the day.

Spitale Eliminated by Ace on the River

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 37,500 ante

"temp0r2k" opened to 660,000 in the cutoff and Franco "rojorulez" Spitale raised to 6,450,000, almost his entire stack. Action folded back to "temp0r2k" who went all in and Spitale called for his last few thousand chips.

"temp0r2k": {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Franco "rojorulez" Spitale: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

A flip would decide this big pot and the flop of {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} was favorable towards Spitale. The {2-Spades} turn put him one card away from a big double, but the devastating {a-Diamonds} peeled off on the river, eliminating him and sending the pot to "temp0r2k".

"llv62" Makes Backdoor Straight to Knock Out "Warrior25409"

Level 21 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

"llv62" opened on the button to 400,000 and "Warrior25409" called in the big blind. The flop was {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} and "Warrior25409" check-shoved a 400,000 bet for his remaining 1,472,060. "llv62" called and hands were tabled.

"Warrior25409": {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
"llv62": {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

"Warrior25409" was ahead but not safe yet. The {9-Clubs} turn added some straight outs he needed to fade, and the {q-Diamonds} river gave the straight to "llv62" and eliminated "Warrior25409".
