Second Break

Level 27 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

Players are on their second short break.

Ventura Triple-Barrels

Level 27 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura opened from the small blind to 750,000 and Michel "FreeLancerZZ" Dattani called in the big blind for two more blinds. Ventura c-bet 407,500 on the {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop and Dattani called.

Ventura kept barreling on the {a-Clubs} turn with a 1,832,500 bet and Dattani called. Ventura fired for 4,582,500 on the {2-Hearts} river and Dattani, who had 6,573,273 million chips left, folded.

David "dpeters17" Peters Eliminated in 5th Place ($71,879)

Level 27 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph opened for 500,000 from the cutoff. David "dpeters17" Peters three-bet to 1,500,000 from the small blind and Rudolph four-bet jammed for 12,979,547. Peters called off his stack of 6,000,442 and the duo was off to the races in a coinflip situation with Peters at risk.

David "dpeters17" Peters: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Peters pulled ahead in the hand after the {6-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop but Rudolph paired his king on the {k-Diamonds} turn. The {3-Spades} river wasn't the two outer he needed to survive and he was eliminated in fifth place for $71,879.

Meanwhile, Rudolph, who began the hand with the chip lead, put some distance between him and the rest of the pack.

Dattani Wins Pot At Showdown

Level 27 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura completed from the small blind for 250,000 and Michel "FreeLancerZZ" Dattani checked in the big blind.

Dattani bet 374,750 when checked to on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Ventura put in the call. Dattani continued firing on for 1,119,420 on the {2-Clubs} turn and Ventura again called. The river brought the {j-Clubs} and both players checked.

Ventura tabled {k-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a pair of threes but it was no good against the pair of nines of Dattani, who held {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Top Pair Good for Dattani

Level 27 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

David "dpeters17" Peters opened for 500,000 from under the gun and Michel "FreeLancerZZ" Dattani defended his big blind.

Dattani check-called a bet by Peters for 321,875 on the {9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades} flop before check-calling again for 1,250,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn. Both players checked the {4-Hearts} river.

Dattani turned over {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for top pair which was good enough to win the hand with Peters virtually mucking his cards.

Ventura Applies Pressure From Big Blind

Level 27 : 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

Pedro "pvigar" Garagnani opened to 515,000 on the button and Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura three-bet from the big blind to 1,875,000. Garagnani called.

The flop came down {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Ventura continued with a bet of 1,332,375. Garagnani folded.

Pedro "pvigar" Garagnani opened for 494,000 from the button and was called by Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura from the big blind.

Ventura check-called the {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop for 388,160 before leading out for 600,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn. The {4-Spades} river paired the board and Ventura bet 1,900,000. Garagnani called and won the hand with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to Ventura's {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to catapult into second place.

Rudolph Regains Chip Lead

Level 26 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

The two biggest stacks at the final table got involved in a hand when Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph
opened to 400,000 from the hijack and Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura flat-called from the cutoff.

Rudolph checked the {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop and called when Ventura bet 800,000. The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and both players checked. Rudolph went for nearly a pot-sized bet of 2,300,000 on the {7-Hearts} river, and Ventura folded.

Ventura Back With the Lead

Level 26 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura opened for 440,000 from the cutoff and Day 1 chip leader Pedro "pvigar" Garagnani defended his big blind.

Garagnani check-called for 396,000 on the {7-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} flop before checking again on the {q-Diamonds} turn. Ventura bet 658,000 and regained the chip lead after Garagnani folded.
