Veldhuis called. Nemeth slowed down on the {7-Spades} turn but called when Veldhuis bet 440,000. The river brought the {k-Spades} and Veldhuis bet enough to put his opponent all-in for 1.4 million when checked to.

Nemeth called and showed a flush with {9-Spades}{4-Spades}, but it was no good against the Veldhuis' better flush with {q-Spades}{10-Spades}. Nemeth was eliminated in eighth place and Veldhuis took a commanding chip lead after entering Day 2 as the short stack.

Nemeth then led out with a bet of 227,040 on the {j-Diamonds} turn and Dzivielevski raised it up to 520,000. Nemeth wasn't buying what his opponent was selling and re-raised all-in for 1.3 million. Dzivielevski laid it down.
