Welcome to Day 2 of WCOOP 91-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event] in the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). Over 1,962 entrants have come to play for the guaranteed $10,000,000 prize pool and that number is expected to grow as we near the end of registration at the start of Day 2.

Santo “kleinebakker007” Bakker of the Netherlands has the big chip lead after winning a huge pot late in Day 1. He is followed by Mirza "zazano" Muhovic of Luxembourg and “FAPTOBbIY” of Russia and more than 588 other players looking to make it to Day 3. Other notables making their way into Day 2 include Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov, Mason "Pye_Face21" Pye, and Anton "Bomber&Granater" Wigg.

​​Monday’s Day 2 will start at 5:10 p.m. GMT on September 13 and will continue until 72 players are remaining. Day 3 will have Tuesday to play down to a final table that will take place on Wednesday September 15.

Blinds will resume in Level 16 at 6000/12,000 and a 1,500 ante with an increase every 30 minutes. The registration period will close at the start of Day 2 after being open for 24 hours.

Boivin Doubles Through Pateychuk

Level 17 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

The table folded around and Andrey "ThePateychuk" Pateychuk limped in from the small blind before Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin raised to 56,000 from the big blind. Pateychuk three-bet to 196,000 and Boivin made the flat call.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Pateychuk led out for 89,320. Boivin made the call to see a turn {8-Hearts}.

Pateychuk continued on the turn for 192,931 and got another call. The river was {j-Diamonds}.

Pateychuk shoved for 1,214,500 on the river and got the snap call for Boivin's last 629,224. Pateychuk turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for three queens, but Boivin had {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for the cooler to win a giant pot.

Santo "kleinebakker007" Bakker raised from middle position to 60,000 and "FutureofMe" three-bet to 210,000 from the cutoff. Action folded around and Bakker made the call.

The turn was {8-Clubs} and Bakker checked. "FutureofMe" continued for 417,000 and got another check-call.

Leonard’s victory came after he navigated his way through a star-studded field of 70 players in the $1,050 buy-in NL 2-7 Single Draw 7-Max tournament.
