Leading the returning players is "Gothewarriors" from New Zeland who finished with whopping 1,752,906 chips, as they just barley topped out "pla5te" sits second in chips with 1,501,638. The next three players closed out the first day fairly even in stack sizes as "umvelt900" (1,448,603), "megalodoNkk" (1,346,698) and "dtminator" (1,286,152) round out the top five stacks.

"zelvavegas" open-jammed for their last 108,824 from late position and action folded to Julian "julianpineda" Pineda who looked them from the big blind.
"zelvavegas":

"megalodoNkk":
Julian "julianpineda" Pineda:
Pineda put his chips at risk and was dominated by "megalodoNkk" with nothing changing after the flop.
The turn left Pineda drawing dead to the river but luckily for him, "TravisPay666" fell the very same hand with less chips, making them the Main Event bubble boy while Pineda finished in 957 place for $1,123.
"HitAndFlyy" raised from middle position and action folded to PokerStars Ambassador Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas who defended his big blind.
After the flop appeared, Colillas check-jammed for 605,211 after "HitAndFlyy" continued and was called.
"HitAndFlyy":
Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas:

"Perfect1232":
Ben "Spraggy" Spragg:
Spragg was trailing his opponents pocket pair and the flop didn't change a thing.

Today's Action
With all those extra entries, the tournament kicked off with 2,826 players who would all be trying to fight their way to the top 959 as that would mean that they would cash for at least $1,123. The players dropped like flies on the road to the money.
PokerStars Ambassador's Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot, Rafael "GM_VALTER" Moraes, were just some of the players to bust before the first break of the day but it didn't stop there, as the eliminations kept at a quick pace.
One by one players fell and three hours after the tournament had started, the bubble burst after "TravisPay666" was eliminated in Level 25.
With 958 players remaining, only four PokerStars Ambassadors were left in the field with Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas being the first to fall he was straightened out on the river (459th place - $1,607).
Arlie "Prince Pablo" Shaban lasted a few levels longer until he was out-kicked by "imGROOOOOT" (408th place - $1,810) and Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle fell shortly after holding a pair of sixes (378th place - $1,810). Ben "Spraggy" Spragg was the last of the survivors but his luck ran out after failing to crack a pair of sixes.
From there, it would take just over three more hours for the field to be reduced to the final 79 players and those players will return for Day 3 at 5:05 p.m. GMT on Tuesday, September 14.
The returning players will finish the last of Level 38 which has a small blind of 125,000, a big blind of 250,000 with a running ante of 32,500 and will play until the final table has been reached.
All players have secured at least $3,423 but they will all be wanting to reach the final table where they will win at least $36,601, while the first-place comes with a prize of $549,008 and PokerNews will be there from the first bustout throughout the climb through the pay ladder so make sure to follow along.
