Andras "probirs" Nemeth of Hungary is searching for his third World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) in the WCOOP-92-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event] after finishing Day 2 as chip leader. Nemeth, who most recently took down the 2020 $5,200 PLO 6-Max, High Roller for $140,506, joins six other players who survived over six hours of play on Day 2 to make it to the final table.

The tournament attracted 147 runners, smashing the million-dollar guarantee with a prize pool of $1.5 million. A large portion of the prize pool, $308,556, will go to the first-place winner, while second place will earn $237,169 and third place will earn $182,298.

Other players who survived Day 2 include Ami "UhhMee" Barer of Canada and Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amundsgard of Norway, as well as Ukraine's "plspaythxbye" and "Ben_Apart" of the United Kingdom.

Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof was eliminated on the money bubble after his kings couldn't get there against an opponent's aces. The first player out in the money was Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen, who busted when he ran into aces. For his 17th place finish, Jouhkimainen earned a cash of $24,277.

Day 1 chip leader "yara777" of Ukraine made a deep run but was eliminated in 12th place for $41,028 by Nemeth's quad sevens. Nemeth's run-good continued when he flopped a set of threes to crack the aces of Ka Kwan "kaju85" Lau and sent the player home on the final table bubble.

Day 3 of the PLO main event will commence on Sept. 14 at 5:05 GMT, and the PokerNews live reporting team will be here bringing you final table coverage.
