Mattsson's "One Time" Has Been Used

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Before the break, Dalton "daltonhb" Hobold opened to 80,000 from middle position and Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson made it 388,000 to go, sitting in the small blind.

Hobold called to see the {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop where Mattsson fired in 654,760. Hobold again called, bringing down the {5-Hearts} turn card.

Mattsson jammed for barely enough to cover Hobold who snap-called, tabling {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Mattsson was absolutely dominated when he showed his {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and a chip lead pot looked to be within reach for Hobold.

An unlikely {j-Hearts} fell, saving the day for Mattsson. Hobold took an exit on a gross river, and Mattsson then took the lead.

Break Time

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

The players will now be taking their first five-minute break of the day.

Stojanovic Smashes a Flop

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Vlada "Vlada2108" Stojanovic was looking at an 80,000 open by "tarantaleo" when he three-bet to 232,000 and "tarantaleo" called to see the {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop.

The action checked to Stojanovic, he bet 135,340, "tarantaleo" check-called and the {3-Hearts} then peeled off.

Both tapped to the {9-Spades} river where Stojanovic pushed. "tatantaleo" check-called his last 459,701, tabling {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for aces over treys but it was not even close when Stojanovic showed {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

The flopped eight of Stojanovic took down the pot, eliminating "tarantaleo" from the field.

Astedt Trying to Best the Ducks of Papazian

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Alexandru "steakaddict." Papazian limped the cutoff, Luis "luis_faria" Faria raised to 140,000 on the button and Niklas "Lena900" Astedt called from the big blind. Papazian limp-raised to 1,200,000, Faria folded and Astedt jammed. Papazian threw is last 156,560 into the middle and was at risk.

Alexandru "steakaddict" Papazian: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Niklas "Lena900" Astedt: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The sweat was real for Papazin after a {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop spread on the virtual felt, giving Astedt a flush draw to go with his over.

A {9-Diamonds} turn added some straight outs for Astedt but not a thing connected for him on the {2-Diamonds} river. Papazian scooped in a complete double with his set of ducks.

Assorted Chip Counts

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Dzivielevski Turns a Bad Situation into a Winner

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski raised to 73,500 from middle position and directly on the left was Lucio "WizardOffAz" Lima who made it 220,150 to go. Dzivielevski jammed 1,185,191 and Lima snap-called, putting in slightly less as they turned them over.

Lucio "WizardOffAz" Lima: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Lima was a considerable favorite and landed a bullet on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop but Dzivielevski picked up some scary-looking outs.

Instantly the Brazilian hit on the turn, having the {10-Diamonds} complete broadway for him. A {4-Spades} river cemented it, dropping Lima from the field.

Rolle Gains Some Momentum

Level 22 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle open-shipped his 336,800 stack into the middle and Laurie "LaliTournier" Tournier called in the big blind, putting the PokerStars ambassador at risk.

Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Laurie "LaliTournier" Tournier: {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Rolle was primed to double, and a {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} had the hand all but won. The {j-Hearts} sealed it on the turn for Rolle as Tournier was drawing dead to the {6-Clubs} river.

A much-needed double went to Rolle who is still on the shorter side of things but it seems the momentum is starting.

Maslak Pulls One Early

Level 22 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Konstantin "krakukra" Maslak raised to 80,500 from middle position and "JManana" more all in from the big blind for a total of 654.340. Maslak slapped in the chips and a flip was on the board when the cards went up.

"JManana": {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Konstantin "krakukra" Maslak: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Maslak connected on the {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} flop to take the lead. A {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} runout secured it for him to pull in the chips, collecting a bounty in the process.
