Welcome to Day 1 of WCOOP 92-H: $10,300 World Championship of NLHE Main Event $6M GTD
The ongoing World Championship of Online Poker assembled a great range of events for every skill level and bankroll thus far. But now, as the series draws near the end, it is time for the belle of the ball as PokerStars delivers yet another monstrous guarantee with the highly anticipated WCOOP 92-H: $10,300 NLHE [World Championship of NLHE / Main Event], $6M GTD slated to begin at 4:30 p.m. GMT.
Last year saw “CrazyLissy” of Russia take down the WCOOP 91-H: $5,200 NLHE Main Event for an outstanding $1,499,942. The Russian denied Canada's Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois of earning the feat, but he was the only other player to his a seven-figure score, pocketing $1,069,210 for his runner-up finish.
This is a four-day tournament that will see play continue until the completion of Level 15. Monday’s Day 2 will continue until 40 runners are left in the field, and Day 3 will see that numbers fall to the final table of nine. The Main Event title will then be up for grabs as the final nine return on Wednesday, September 28 to play until a champion has been crowned.
Players will begin with 250,000 chips and blinds will start at 500/1,000 with a 125 ante. Blind levels will increase every 30-minutes throughout the event. All players can jump back into the action after busting, having up to three re-entries during the late registration period, which is open until the start of Day 2.
Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team delivers all of the action throughout the event.
