Day 3 Started
Entering the third and final day of Event #11: $2,700 Main Event at the Potomac Winter Poker Open just seven players remain from an original field of 533. Each of those players has locked up at least $39,506 but all eyes will surely be on the top prize of $277,053 and the title of main event champion.
Currently the player best positioned to chase that first place finish is Caitlyn Cobb who holds the chiplead with a stack of 7,740,000. She will face stiff competition, however, in the form of WSOP bracelet winner and established Maryland poker pro Justin Liberto, sitting second in chips with 5,990,000. The hyper aggressive, angry birds hat-wearing Christopher Brown, who was near the top of the chip counts for much of the tournament, rounds out the top three with 3,995,000.

Action folded around to Justin Liberto on the button and he raised enough to force either Shouyi Gao in the small blind or Anthony Lam in the big blind all in. Gao got out of the way while Lam, after taking one last look at his stack, called off for his tournament life.
Anthony Lam:
Justin Liberto:
Lam was at risk but did have two live cards. The flop immediately propelled him into the lead though the turn did give Liberto a flush draw. That draw came in on the river, ending Lam's impressive run in 7th place.

Action checked to Brown on a flop of and he led out for 600,000. That forced a fold from Dickstein but Lebrun called to see a turn.
The turn came and Lebrun checked for a second time. Brown immediately moved all and Lebrun, though he seemed uncomfortable with the situation, called off with the effective stack.
Joseph Lebrun:
Christopher Brown:
Lebrun was ahead with his pocket rockets but would need to fade Brown's flush and straight outs. He was able to do that after the river bricked out to hand a massive double to Lebrun while leaving Brown as the short stack.
