Cobb Rivers Trips

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Caitlyn Cobb opened to 480,000 from under the gun and received a single call from Joseph Lebrun in the big blind.

Lebrun checked to the preflop raiser on a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and Cobb continued for 1,220,000. Despite the large sizing, Lebrun was not going anywhere just yet and made the call.

Both players checked through the {8-Hearts} turn to the {9-Clubs} river at which point Lebrun checked for a third time. Cobb, not yet willing to go to showdown, pushed a hefty 3,000,000 into the middle. Lebrun did not take long to make the call but mucked after Cobb turned over {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} to take down a massive pot that sees her increase her chiplead.

Mark Dickstein Eliminated in 4th Place ($90,482)

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Mark Dickstein

Action folded around to Mark Dickstein in the small blind and he moved all in. Justin Liberto quickly called in the big blind with the covering stack to put Dickstein at risk.

Mark Dickstein: {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Justin Liberto: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Dickstein was not in great shape, needing to come from behind to survive. No help came for him on the {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop or the {a-Spades} turn with the {7-Clubs} river completing a clean runout for the jacks to send Dickstein out of the tournament in 4th place.

All three remaining players have now locked up a six figure score.

Lebrun Finds a Double

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Joseph Lebrun moved all in for 1,465,000 in the small blind and, after asking for a count, Caitlyn Cobb made the call in the big blind.

Joseph Lebrun: {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Caitlyn Cobb: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Lebrun was in a good spot to get a crucial double, having Cobb dominated. He was able to stay ahead on the {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} runout to close the gap between himself and the other two players.

Justin Liberto opened to 550,000 in the small blind and was called by Jospeh Lebrun in the big blind.

Liberto continued for 325,000 on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Lebrun made the call to send the two players to the turn.

The turn came {3-Clubs}, prompting Liberto to fire a second barrel of 1,150,000. That bet was still not enough to convince Lebrun to go away as he again just called.

The {2-Spades} river completed the board and, after some thought, Liberto moved all in. That sent Lebrun deep into the tank as he pondered his decision for several minutes. Eventually he called off for his tournament life and tabled {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} but that was no good as Liberto held {k-Spades}{j-Spades} to send Lebrun crashing out of the tournament in 3rd place and setup heads-up play between Liberto and Caitlyn Cobb.

Cobb Jams River

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Caitlyn Cobb opened to 400,000 on the button only to see Justin Liberto three-bet to 1,050,000 in the big blind. Cobb made the call to send the two players to the flop.

Liberto continued for 475,000 on the {4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop and Cobb called.

The {3-Clubs} turn did not slow down the action, with Liberto betting out 1,500,000 and Cobb again calling.

Liberto checked to Cobb following the {5-Spades} river and she promptly moved all in. With a 'nice hand' Liberto relinquished his holding to send a sizable pot over to Cobb.
