Belram Rais Eliminated in 7th Place ($3,212)

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Belram Rais
Belram Rais

Brett Butz opened to 280,000 from the cutoff before Belram Rais moved all in for his last 895,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way and Butz made the call with the covering stack to put Rais at risk.

Belram Rais: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Brett Butz: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Rais had Butz dominated but was already leaving his seat after the flop came {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. No miracle comeback was on the cards for Rais as the {3-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river completed the board to send him out of the tournament in 7th place.

Jim Dike Eliminated in 6th Place ($4,130)

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Jim Dike
Jim Dike

Jim Dike moved all in for 1,685,000 from middle position and William Pinkerton called off for his last 1,550,000 on the button.

William Pinkerton: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Jim Dike: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Dike was marginally ahead but could not hold on the {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} runout to hand Pinkerton a full double while leaving Dike with crumbs.

The very next hand Dike moved all in from under the gun and was called by Pinkerton in the cutoff as well as James Liddell in the small blind and Brett Butz in the big blind.

Action checked through all streets as the board ran out {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{k-} with Pinkerton tabling {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the absolute nuts to eliminate Dike in 6th place.

Minwoo Ahn Eliminated in 5th Place ($5,506)

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Minwoo Ahn
Minwoo Ahn

Jacob Mitich opened to 400,000 from the cutoff and was called by James Leddell on the button as well as Brett Butz in the small blind and Minwoo Ahn in the big blind.

Butz and Ahn checked to Mitich following the {4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and he continued for 1,200,000. That was enough to get rid of all of his opponents except for Ahn, who moved all in. Mitich snapped it off to put Ahn at risk.

Minwoo Ahn: {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Jacob Mitich: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Ahn was in terrible shape and unable to find help on the {6-Spades} turn or {a-Diamonds} river to send him to the rail in 5th place. Mitich, meanwhile, has begun to run away with the chiplead, now controlling more than half of the chips in play.

James Liddell Eliminated in 4th Place ($7,617)

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
James Liddell
James Liddell

James Liddell moved all in for 1,950,000 from under the gun and was called by William Pinkerton in the small blind.

James Liddell: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}
William Pinkerton: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Liddell was at risk but in a good spot to secure a full double. The {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop did give Pinkerton some chop outs but they disappeared following the {9-Clubs} turn. It was Pinkerton, however, who would end the hand ahead after the {j-Clubs} rolled off the deck on the river to give him an ace-high flush while sending Liddell out of the tournament in painful fashion.

Brett Butz Eliminated in 3rd Place ($9,865)

Brett Butz
Brett Butz

Jacob Mitich moved all in on the button and Brett Butz called off for the rest of his stack out of the small blind.

Brett Butz: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Jacob Mitich: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Butz was in a good spot to get a crucial double up and remained ahead on the {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and the {4-Diamonds} turn. The {6-Spades} river, however, dealt a death blow to his chances of emerging victorious, instead condemning him to a 3rd place finish.
