Sangbouasy Scores Two Big Pots
Sam Sangbouasy limped from middle position and was raised by the player in the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Sangbouasy who made the call to see a flop.

who continued for 1,000. That was not enough to shed Sangbouasy who just called.
The
turn saw Sangbouasy check once more and again his opponent, rather than slowing down, fired off 2,000. The second barrel did not convince Sangbouasy to surrender as he flatted.
On the
river Sangbouasy seized the betting lead, pushing a meaty 15,000 into the middle. His opponent immediately folded.
The very next hand saw Sangbouasy in action once again. A player opened to 900 from under the gun and was called by Sangbouasy in middle position as well as the player immediately to his left and the big blind.

flop which was enough to force the under the gun player out of the hand but not enough to elicit a fold from Sangbouasy. The player seated next to Sangbouasy did fold to send action heads up to the turn.
The
turn saw the big blind slow down, checking to Sangbouasy who bet 2,000. That bet was met by an all in for 17,100 from the big blind, sending Sangbouasy into the tank. After some consideration and asking the dealer for an exact count he did make the call with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.

Sangbouasy was well ahead with his overpair and held on the
river to send the big blind player packing while seeing his own stack shoot up the leaderboard.
