Brown Gets There on the River to Double
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Kenneth Brown bet 3,000 from the cutoff on a flop of K♦Q♥9♦ before an opponent in the big blind raised to 8,000. Brown called, and the 2♥ fell on the turn.
The big blind then bet 15,000, and Brown called. The river was the 10♦ and the big blind moved all in. Brown called for 16,000 and turned over 7♦5♦ for a rivered flush, and his opponent mucked J♠10♥ for a flopped straight as he handed over the double up.
