Fan Catches Runner-Runner to Bust Aron; Tangri Finds a Call Against Bohmerwald
Level 19
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Changfeng Fan raised to 35,000 on the button, Michael Aron moved all in for 200,000 in the small blind, and Fan called.
Michael Aron: Q♦10♦
Changfeng Fan: K♣J♣
Aron hit trips on the Q♣Q♥5♠ flop to take a big lead in the pot, while the turn was the 3♣. The river, though, brought the 2♣ to give Fan a flush and send Aron to the rail.
At the same time on another table, Rishi Tangri and Michael Bohmerwald were on the river with around 300,000 in the pot on a board of J♦4♠9♦2♠A♦ when Bohmerwald moved all in for 260,000 in the hijack. Tangri took a minute before calling in the big blind.
"I'm out. Good call," Bohmerwald said as he revealed K♠Q♠ for a missed draw. Tangri had 9♣2♦ for two pair to win the pot and score the knockout.
