James Morris was absent from his seat for nearly 20 minutes, but for good reason. He was downstairs on the main casino floor taking part in a blackjack tournament.
Morris finally returned and told his tablemates that he won his round, but has to return for Round 2 in another 20 minutes.
Harrison Shea was down to his last 25,000 when he moved all in from the hijack. Ed Hill put him at risk in early position.

With tablemate Joan Bousman actively rooting for Shea to come from behind, the board ran out 2♠7♥10♠Q♠4♦ to secure the pot for Hill with his aces and send Shea to the rail.
"I wasn't rooting against you. I was rooting for Harrison," Bousman reassured Hill.
"Man, did I pick the wrong time to shove," Shea added as he headed to the exit.
Derrick Thomas moved all in for his last 50,000 from the small blind and Simeon Lehmann called in the big blind.

Thomas was looking for an ace to stay alive, but he couldn't find any help on the 9♦3♦3♠4♠5♦ board and was sent to the rail.
Adron Countryman raised to 6,500 under the gun and was called by David Fuss and Seun Oluwole in the blinds.
All three players checked the 9♣6♦4♦ flop. Countryman then bet 10,000 on the 4♥ turn, and Fuss raised to 23,000. Oluwole got out of the way, while Countryman called.
Fuss moved all in for 40,000 on the 3♠ river, and Countryman quickly folded. Fuss showed 9♠9♦ for a full house as he raked in the pot.

Alex Grace bet 10,000 from the button on a flop of 7♣10♥8♣ before the big blind raised to 28,000. Grace called, and the Q♠ fell on the turn.
The big blind then bet another 58,000, and Grace moved all in. His opponent quickly called for 120,000 with 10♣5♣ for a pair and flush draw, but he was already drawing dead as Grace had J♣9♣ for the nut straight with a higher flush draw.
The river was the 9♠ and Grace took down the big pot to send his opponent to the rail.
Joan Bousman raised to 5,000 in the hijack, Ed Hill three-bet to 12,000 in the big blind, and Bousman called.
Both players checked to the river on a board of 10♦10♥K♥10♠5♠. Hill then bet 10,000, and Bousman called.
Hill showed J♣J♦ for a full house, and Bousman mucked.
Clint Houck and Jared Arnold were recently sent to the rail.
A player in the cutoff raised to 6,000 before Christian Harder three-bet to 20,000 in the small blind. The cutoff then moved all in, and Harder took a minute before calling for 109,000.

Harder found himself dominated, but the Q♦7♠8♦ flop gave him top pair and the lead. His opponent picked up a straight draw on the 10♠ turn, but the 7♣ river was safe for Harder as he doubled up.
Three players built a pot of around 60,000 as they went to the turn on a board of 6♦A♠8♥K♦. Louis Bailey then moved all in for 60,000 from middle position, James Morris reshoved in the hijack, and the rest of the table got out of the way.
Bailey showed A♥J♣ for top pair, but he was already drawing dead as Morris had 8♦8♠ for a set. The river was the 6♣, and Morris improved to a full house to secure the knockout.
Clint Houck bet 5,500 from the big blind on a flop of 10♣5♣J♦ and Matthew Su raised to 18,000 under the gun. Houck then moved all in, and Su called for 50,000.

Both players were on draws, and it was Su who hit his flush on the K♣ turn to take the lead. The river was the 8♦ and he doubled up, dealing a big hit to Houck's stack shortly after he had just reentered.
