With around 200,000 in the pot on a flop of K♥6♥3♣, Patrick Martorella bet 145,000 from the button and Justin Liberto called in middle position.
Both players checked the A♠ turn. Liberto then moved all in on the 5♠ river, and Martorella snap-folded.
Nicholas Verderamo raised to 40,000 in the cutoff before Huy Tran moved all in for 400,000 on the button. Patrick Martorella called in the big blind, while Verderamo got out of the way.

Martorella had Tran crushed with his queens, and the board ran out 3♦7♥K♦8♥3♦ to send Tran to the rail.
Waleed Mian raised to 40,000 on the button, John Major three-bet to 130,000 in the small blind, and Mian called.
The flop came 7♠7♦4♥ and Major bet 150,000. Mian called to see the 3♥ turn, where Major slowed down and checked. Mian then bet 200,000, and Major folded.
At another table, Jonathan Moritz bet 50,000 from the button on a flop of 7♣5♦Q♠ and Dejan Ristov raised to 150,000 in the big blind. Moritz then moved all in for 460,000, and Ristov folded.
Terry Breeden moved all in for 385,000 under the gun and Waleed Mian reshoved in the hijack. The table folded around to Justin Liberto in the big blind, and he snap-called for 885,000.

More than 2,000,000 was at stake as Liberto turned over two aces. Breeden picked up some outs with a pair on the 6♣5♦6♠10♠ board, but the 5♥ river was safe for Liberto to scoop the massive pot.
"Take it down," Breeden said to Liberto as he headed for the rail, while Mian handed over the double up.
In a battle between the blinds, John Major and Kevin Kwak each put in 520,000 before the flop and saw a board of 9♠7♦2♥. Major then bet his last 75,000, and Kwak called.

Both players had flopped a pair, while Major was ahead with top pair. The A♣ turn gave both of them two pair, and Major remained in the lead on the 5♥ river to earn the double up.
Dejan Ristov, the situation of the missing chips settled, opened to 55,000 in the cutoff and Casey Hatmaker called in the big blind.
Ristov continued for 55,000 on the 5♥K♣10♥ flop, and Hatmaker called. Ristov then bet another 65,000 on the 8♦ turn, and Hatmaker again called.
Both players checked the J♣ river, and Hatmaker showed A♣10♣ for a pair of tens to win the pot.
Dejan Ristov claimed he counted his stack as 1,115,000 as players went off on break and the 1,000 yellow chips were colored up. When he came back, however, he only had around 800,000 left.
Ristov asked tournament officials to check the cameras. "I'm not missing 80K. We're talking about 300,000 chips," Ristov said. It took a few minutes, but officials told him security confirmed that the color-up was done correctly, and action would continue.
Meanwhile, Hieu Nguyen had moved all in for 230,000 on a flop of Q♣8♠2♠ from under the gun and Rishi Tangri put him at risk in early position.

Tangri was ahead with his sixes, and Nguyen couldn't catch upu on the 2♥ turn or Q♥ river as he was sent to the rail.
Thomas Barry moved all in for 185,000 in the big blind and Changfeng Fan called under the gun.

Fan had Barry dominated and improved to a set on the A♣4♥8♠ flop. The K♥ turn left Barry drawing dead, while the 9♦ river sealed the bustout for Fan.
The next hand, Nicholas Verderamo raised to 50,000 under the gun and Samuel Rosen moved all in for 100,000 in the cutoff. Fan then reraised to 200,000 in the big blind, and Verderamo folded.

Rosen was racing for his tournament life, but he missed the 9♠4♣7♣2♥10♣ board as Fan again made a set to send Rosen to the rail. Verderamo then admitted he folded two sevens.
