Late last night saw William Batts taking down the $400 Big O event for $9,258 as the Maryland resident added to his $16,750 in live earnings.

The event drew 87 runners for a prize pool of $28,710 that nearly tripled the $10,000 guarantee.

All of Batts cashes have been at MGM National Harbor, and he has logged more than a dozen final table finishes. But Batts never had a first place until today, but he does now with a BetMGM Poker trophy to go with it.

Batts held up a Big O monster in his winner's photo: double-suited aces with a deuce and some paint cards.
