Michael Faulkner Eliminated in 12th Place ($295)

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

On the {Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Michael Faulkner was all in for his tournament life with the {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, but he was in a world of hurt against the {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for William Recker.

Ferguson Doubles Through Unsain

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jason Unsain raised to 34,000 from the hijack seat, and then Skip Ferguson reraised all in for 67,000 on the button. Play folded back to Unsain, and he called with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Ferguson had the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

Another player at the table claimed that he folded the other two fours in the deck, so it was time for Ferguson to hold in a big way if he was to double.

The {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop didn't exactly hit Unsain, but it did help give him some additional outs to counterfeit Ferguson. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, and the river was the {10-Clubs}. With that, Ferguson's fours held up, and he doubled up.

Miguel Gonzalez just moved all in for his last 15,500 chips and Dan O'Brien made the call from his direct left. The action folded to the big blind and he folded {10-Spades}{5-Spades} face up before Gonzalez went to showdown.

"It was nice playing with you," O'Brien needled his opponent before the board was run out.

O'Brien: {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Gonzalez: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and O'Brien raked in the pot.
