Trettenero Rips It

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player opened to 3,000 from UTG, and Joe "Stapes" Stapleton folded what he later told us was "ace-ten with one diamond" next to act. Jeff Trettenero called in the hijack, as did the cutoff, button and big blind.

The big blind checked a {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop to the UTG player, who bet 6,000. Trettenero jammed for 50,900, sending the button into the tank. After a few minutes, he folded, as did the rest of the field. Trettenero showed {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} for the nuts.

The button said he folded two pair, prompting Stapleton to say, "You folded two pair? Good fold!"

Moreno's Got Good Vibes With This Flip

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Johnnie Moreno
Johnnie Moreno

A player in the big blind ripped his last 24,800 in after a raise on the button from Johnnie "JohnnieVibes" Moreno, and Moreno called to put him at risk.

Moreno: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Moreno bricked the {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, but the {a-Spades} turn was gin for Moreno's Big Slick. The {4-Diamonds} failed to deliver a jack for Moreno's opponent, and he scored the knockout.

Roselius Gets His Three-Bet On

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player raised to 3,100 from UTG+1, and Steve Roselius three-bet to 8,100 on the button. The UTG+1 player thought for a moment, then tossed in a call.

The UTG+1 player checked a {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop over to Roselius, who cut out a bet of 11,100 and tossed it in the pot. His opponent quickly folded.
