Prager Sends Mazza to the Rail

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Mark Mazza
Mark Mazza

Mark Mazza got his last 35,000 or so all in preflop and found himself in a bad spot against Joshua Prager.

Prager: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Mazza: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Mazza had the inferior ace but the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop did give him a flush draw. The {j-Spades} turn added some chop outs, but the {j-Clubs} river was a brick and Mazza headed to the exit.

Blomberg Rivers JohnnieVibes

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Colton Blomberg jammed for 46,000 from UTG+1, and Johnnie "JohnnieVibes" Moreno called in the cutoff.

Blomberg: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Moreno: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Moreno's kings held on the {3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and {j-Hearts} turn, but Blomberg spiked a ten on the {10-Clubs} river to earn the double.

Pokrivnak Busts Barry

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action folded around to Andy Pokrivnak in the small blind and he raised to 6,500. Dan Barry then three-bet all in for 48,000 from the big and Pokrivnak made the call.

Pokrivnak: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Barry: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Barry had a kicker problem and things got worse when the {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop paired Pokrivnak. Barry was looking for a jack to chop but neither the {6-Spades} turn nor {10-Hearts} river was what he needed.

Epstein Fades A Big Draw To Double Through Wang

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

From the small blind, Alex Epstein checked a {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board over to Stanley Wang in the hijack, who bet 30,000 into a pot of around 40,000. Epstein check-raised all in for 86,000, and Wang called.

Epstein: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Wang: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Epstein's two pair had to fade the Royal Flush draw of Wang, and the {10-Diamonds} was safe for Epstein to earn the double.
