Byers was a big favorite to scoop the pot until the dealer put out a monotone flop of 975, improving Leidholm to a flush. The J landed on the turn to seal up the victory for Leidholm and the meaningless 9 fell on the river.

The flop came 4102 with Kim's pair of aces still in the lead, but Blue picked up some equity with a pair of fours. The K landed on the turn, improving Blue to two pair, kings and fours. His hand remained best as the 9 rolled off on the river.

After the hand, Blue began to stand up thinking that he was eliminated and his tablemates quickly explained to him that he had hit two pair to triple up.

"I was getting ready to go to bed," Blue joked as he sat back down in his chair.

Gauthier Wins a Small One

Aaron Eggen raised to 8,000 on the button and Joseph Gauthier defended in the big blind.

The duo checked it down to the river on a runout of 29KKK and Gauthier tabled the winner with 102 for a full house, kings full of deuces to best the J10 of Eggen.
