RPT Montana State Poker Championship Continues with Flight B
Flight B of the RPT Montana State Poker Championship gets underway at 2:00 p.m. local time here at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center. The tournament features a $635 buy-in with an estimated $200,000 prize pool, with the first of two starting flights having been completed yesterday.
Players who advance from each flight will combine and return for the Championship Day on Sunday, April 6, where action will play down to completion. The winner of the event will receive the lion's share of the prize pool as well as a custom RPT bracelet.
Last year's installment of the event attracted 348 entrants, breaking the record for the largest tournament in Montana state history, with a massive $182,700 prize pool. The first flight of this year's event attracted 117 entrants, 18 of which will be returning for Day 2. It will remain to be seen whether or not the record can be broken for the second year in a row.
