Failoni Tables Rockets

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 0 ante

Monte Failoni limped under the gun and action went three-ways to a flop of 104J with the players in the blinds.

It checked over to Failoni who bet 1,000 and both the players in the blinds called, bringing the 9 turn.

It checked to Failoni again and this time he fired out a bet of 5,000. The small blind folded and the big blind stuck around.

The 8 river slowed down the action and both players checked. Failoni turned over AA for a pair of aces to win the pot.

Jeff Heiberg
Jeff Heiberg

Jeff Heiberg caught up with PokerNews to recap a hand he was involved in that resulted in a massive triple up here in the first couple levels of play.

Heiberg explained that he held A6 and was up against two other players who both had flopped sets. He mentioned that the flop came 246x, giving him top pair with the nut flush draw.

All the money went in on the Ax turn and Heiberg spiked the 5 on the river to improve to the nut flush.

Heiberg currently sits with the biggest stack in the room early on in Flight B.
